As I Wait For You...

Under the scorching sun, As I wait for you, With a broken heart, That still beats for you. I look into the crowd, For a known face. And in the mirror, To see my own disgrace. And all I find wherever I go, Is just you and your memories lost. Every moment, every memory, That's all that's left in me. Tears have dried, The laugh has faded. In a monotone of black, Life has evaded. Never had I thought, I would be so involved. Never had I believed, That even I could grieve. And losing you has brought, Nothing to me. Pleasure in pain, Is all that remains. With you, Without you, I remember how it feels, To be around you. And still your face, Captured in my closed eyes. Every night, That's just alone to be. In the wake of every dawn, I hope to see you. At the break of every day, I close my eyes to feel you. Seasons change, From autumn to rain. But colours in my life, Still remain the same. Rain swept the colours of life, In a jiffy, ...

Emotions...

Everyday... Every hour... Every minute... Every second... We feel a long string of emotions. Like, a small incident, a little change, and the emotions we feel, turn out to be completely different from the ones a few moments back... They change by a major! Sometimes I love to think... Was life simpler when we were younger? Like the pre-teens and when double digit ages had just begun? And, yes... Life was easier... The reason I can cite is simple. The emotions we feel, the reasons that change and affect our emotions were few. There were just two simple words to describe emotions... Happiness or sadness. Simply said... Simply understood, even... And today? Life changed within these almost four years after getting into the teens... May be even this is a process of growing up. And if it's so, those elder to me, must be facing even more a deal managing their emotions! The simple happiness, the expressions of joy, just got so many names and expressions... Happiness, joy, gay, grin...

Just Another Ride...

Hey reader! I often happen to travel by a rickshaw (often known as a rick, in the suburbs of Mumbai) or a cab and then I begin thinking about a dozen different things... This is something, I believe, everyone who takes on such vehicles has gone through... Hope you can connect to it at some point... And this one, is a tribute to all my such rides till date... Yes, a 'tribute'... It's strange feeling when I get into the vehicle to take me to my next destination... It's peculiar as to how many things run through my mind... Will I reach on time? Would traffic delay me? What will it be like there? Have I forgotten something? What's it going to be like? Will it be memorable? Would I enjoy? Will I run into someone whom I know? Will I meet someone new and interesting? A million more questions pose in for me... You decide for yourself... Because, it's just another ride... And then, as the vehicle begins... I look at the curious gaze of the on-lookers who stare at...

Right Or Wrong

Bonjour Readers! Pretty frequently I face this dilemma with my own self, 'Is what I just did right? Or should it have been the other way round?' And I am sure, everyone of us, faces any of the following questions every once in a while. 'Why did I do that?' 'Was that right?' 'What was in it that makes me feel terrible?' 'I just did what I felt. If that's not upto your expectations, so am I possibly wrong?' And the list goes on... But the real question is... What's right? What's wrong? I believe that's one of the most controversial question we can ever face! I believe the distinction between 'Right' and 'Wrong' is subjective, opined and personal. It all depends upon us as to what we think it is. To be put in simple terms and language, some people believe that those who believe in the presence of God are correct, while the atheists have their own opinion about it. Killing someone is an offense for me. But for ...

It's All About The Eyes...

Hello readers, It's been quiet some time since I have been observing people and their eyes and trying to understand what they really mean to say behind those words. Here today, I just am trying to tell what 'eyes' of different people have told me without words... I believe eyes are the most pure and expressive organs of the body. Any feeling that we feel, our heart feels, like happiness, sadness, love, hate, like, dislike, anger, fury, satisfaction, joy, fear, confusion, contrast, envy, loss, pain, greed, rage, grievance, confidence, etc. are just perfectly expressed by our eyes. Anything we do, what we feel when we do it, what we expect the reaction to be, everything, is just expressed through our eyes... We may control our words and actions to dupe someone, but our eyes, they just don't listen to our brain! Sometimes, everything happens as we want it to. At other times, it may be contrary. And we end up being disappointed. Although we don't want to let the p...

N.E.W.S.

Hello, It's been quite some time since I actually wanted to write this post. After having heated debates with people over the Best TV News Channel (err... surely not the one which gets the awards always), and factually correct news, I just felt like writing it through in my post. And, by the way, this isn't the 'Rann' effect. In fact, I haven't seen that movie and nor do I plan to. The basic definition of news, is to provide information regarding everything that's happening around the world. In short, providing the updates of events from North, East West and South, making the word, News. Through the years, the increasing competition from all the sides, has brought us to face a world where News is bought and sold, over reported and covered. And yes, this is the bitter truth. Most of the time, we are unaware of the reality and the hype is all we give in to. And this is the case mostly with the audio visual media, the TV channels, which are indulged in a self...

Beyond The 'Khan'...

Hello everyone, To be frank, I was not sure if I should write on this topic. I talked about it to a friend who brought back the zeal in me and reminded me that blogging is all about speaking your heart out... So, here I go... It's been pretty long now since this debate is going on, Shiv Sena or Shah Rukh Khan? And, Mumbai has already shown it's choice as I begin writing this blog. All the movie theatres are running to full houses and the sound of the people is crystal clear. This spirit of Mumbai, to support the right, remains undaunted. With a wish to spring in to the headlines of all the newspapers and news channels, the supremo of Shiv Sena (the orange brigade), Mr. Balasaheb Thackeray, commented about the so-called 'unpatriotic' behaviour of Shah Rukh Khan (SRK or Khan from now on). And, it goes simply to say that it was the simple goal. After all, the kid whom he nourished in politics (Raj Thackeray), has been making the top stories recently. Seen as a p...
